Year 5
Year 5 are busy writing poems about their dragons. There are just a few of the ones which have impressed us:
Tatsu's head is as big as a whale
His eyes darken like an eclipse
His scales are stronger than steel
His claws curve like the wind patterns
His tail can wipe out a whole city in one swipe

Blaze's smooth headIs as big as a house.
Her wide eyes
Shine like a polished ebony.
Her diagonal scales
Are as rough as a cheese grater.
Her claws pointed and sharp
Like razor blades.
Her short, stumpy tail lovely and bright
Will whip and nip you in one swipe.

Rainbow's head is as small as a mouse
Her eyes sparkle like silver
Her scales are as pretty as pearls
Her claws shine like the sun
Her tail changes colour in the cold.
