Members of school council attend Town Council meeting.
Last night, Mr.Lowe and the 3 members of DJS school council were invited to open Driffield Town Council's monthly meeting to speak about their concerns over road safety outside of our school. The road safety campaign video and posters were shared with the council and the children, along with attending parents, spoke about how these issues impact them on a daily basis. The Mayor and his councillors plan to address these concerns, particularly inappropriate parking, and put further monitoring in place to prevent this.
