Science-themed art competition
This term, pupils are invited to enter STEM's 'Start with Art' competition. This will officially be set as a science week homework at the beginning of March. However, pupils are welcome to start creating their masterpieces now (or multiple entries). The brief is to create a piece of art that represents an element of Science. This needs to be accompanied by a 150 word paragraph explaining the link to science. An example would be a painting of a superhero bending an iron bar which could lead to discussion on materials and rigidity.
