The children have made a fantastic first impression with their new teachers. They have soon settled back into the familiar routines of maths and English as well as learning about new areas such as the countries of Europe or what Greece is like as a country. Sketching skills are also being developed using a variety of hard and soft pencils.
Homework and spellings will be coming home on Friday and reading books from Monday. Please encourage your child to complete all of these as well as practising their times tables on TTRockstars.
Well done to all of year Five for such a fabulous start. We are sure that it is going to be an amazing year.
