• Pizza making in Y3
  3H put on their chefs hats this week and made some fantastic pizzas from scratch.
• We Will Remember Them
  Y5 paid tribute to the 134 Driffield men who paid the ultimate sacrifice in World War One. Pupils have spent the past few weeks researching the names of the fallen and were able to share their findings in the assembly.
• Church visit
  Today, year 5 enjoyed visiting All Saints Church to view the poppy displays created by school children in Driffield.
• Poppies
  These are just some of the poppies being displayed in All Saints Church, which is open from 10-4 pm each day.
• Sports Gold
  We are delighted to have received a Gold Award for School Games.
• Football Success
  After winning the Driffield Cluster Tournament two weeks ago, Driffield Junior School headed to South Hunsley School to take part in the East Riding Schools U11 Football Final on a cold, autumnal evening.
• What amazing generosity
  Donations for the harvest festival are coming in thick and fast. All of the foods will be donated to the Driffield Food Bank.
• Tesco Visit
  4W have enjoyed a trip to Tesco. We looked at Fairtrade products and even got to sample some!
• Celebrations
  The Nurture class proudly showing off their “Bucket filling” cards that they have achieved by demonstrating great social skills in their mainstream classes.
• Football Success
  On Thursday, Driffield Junior School football team played Eastrington PS in the first round of the Humberside Schools Under 11 Knock-Out Cup.
