• 3A worked hard last week
  3A have blown Mr Addy away with their Egyptian mummification instructions. You have worked very hard on this.
• Litter
  After learning all about the impact of plastic, 5W wanted to make a difference so went on a litter picking walk around Driffield.
• Whizz Bang Pop club
  Helicopter making and flying was the focus at Whizz Bang Pop club.
• Christmas Lunch
  Everyone wore their Christmas jumpers yesterday for Christmas Lunch Day. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Christmas lunch a real success. 
• Y5 Science
  Y5 have investigated filtering. They washed some fleece fabric and then filtered the water. They were amazed at what was left behind on the filter paper when they looked with a microscope.
• Christmas Jumper Day
  Reminder: Our Christmas jumper day is Wednesday this week, the same day as Christmas Lunch.
• Y5 Visit Driffield School
  Y5 were thoroughly entertained by musicians at the senior school on Monday afternoon. We were involved in a sing along as well as listening to live music by the many talented musicians and choir.
• Mathletics challenge
  We are EXTREMELY proud of all of our children who helped contribute towards our grand total of 342,534 points in the Mathletics November Numeracy Challenge.
• Plastic recycling
  As part of our plastics topic, Y5 have been looking at how to sort plastics for recycling.
• Sports Hall Athletics
  Over the last 2 weeks, all our Year 4 and Year 6 children have taken part in fun Sportshall Athletic sessions at Driffield Leisure Centre.
